The European Association of Computer Assisted Language Learning (EUROCALL) is an organisation that brings together researchers, practitioners and developers that engage in the use of technology for the learning and teaching of languages and cultures.
EUROCALL was established in 1993 and has over the course of the last 27 years grown to become an important forum to assist researchers and practitioners in creating and sharing knowledge about he many aspects of technology for learning and teaching languages and culture.
Membership is open to anyone interested in the use of technology for the learning and teaching of languages and cultures. The benefits of joining are many and includes the possibility of attending the annual EUROCALL conference.
Through the annual EUROCALL conference, the many Special Interest Groups and the peer-reviewed EUROCALL publications (ReCALL journal and the EUROCALL Review), the organisation provides platforms for those researchers and practitioners passionate about technology for the learning and teaching of languages and cultures.
The EUROCALL conference
The conference focuses on computer and technology mediated and supported language teaching. Each year the conference gathers researchers and language instructors from all over the world for a four-day event with focus on current trends and themes within computer assisted language learning (CALL). It is the yearly meeting place for members of the European Association of Computer Assisted Language Learning (EUROCALL).
The Copenhagen EUROCALL2020 conference is 28th EUROCALL conference.
